Individual Therapy

Many people reach out to a therapist when they are struggling to cope with life. Or feel trapped and held back by personal problems or relationship issues. Individual therapy provides a regular space to slow down and reflect on what is happening in your life. Perhaps things are not going in the direction you had planned. Or problems and obstacles are in your way. Maybe old patterns keep recurring. Together we can understand what is happening and work towards resolution and lasting change.

Through this process, you may develop greater self-awareness, resilience and a clearer sense of how you want to move forward.

Couples Counselling

From time to time all relationships can go through periods of challenge and difficulty. Couples come to counselling for many different reasons: communication problems, loss of intimacy, infidelity, jealousy, anger and ongoing conflict.

I focus on creating a safe and contained space where you can both speak freely and be heard and understood.

Together we can explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and find new ways of relating to one another. My aim is to help you develop greater understanding, strengthen communication, and rebuild trust and connection.

Online Therapy

I offer online therapy for adults who prefer to meet remotely or are unable to meet in person. 

This is particularly useful for people who travel frequently, have mobility or health issues or find meeting in person too stressful.

I work online using secure platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

Online sessions can be arranged on a regular basis or alongside in-person work depending or your circumstances and preferences.

For some people, the comfort and familiarity of their own environment can make it easier to engage in therapy

ABOUT ME 

From a background in business and personal development I have been supporting people through a wide range of challenging emotional difficulties for nearly 30 years. I work in an intergrative way, drawing on more than a single therapeutic model so that our work can be responsive to your needs rather than confined to a single theory.

I have extensive experience of helping people with:

Stress and overwhelm

Relationship difficulties

Low motivation and loss of direction

Life transitions and periods of change

Obsessions, compulsions and intrusive thoughts
